Fall 2024 miniterms

VCU is offering short courses meant to provide students with scheduling flexibility. These miniterms will allow students to take accelerated classes and explore new educational topics. There are three miniterms: two five-week terms and an eight-week term.

The miniterm courses can be found in the Schedule of Classes by searching the attribute type for the individual miniterm.

September miniterm
Classes begin: Monday, Sep. 9
End of add/drop: Tuesday, Sep. 10
Last day to withdraw: Friday, Oct. 11
Last day to choose the Pass/Fail option: Friday, Oct. 11

Fall miniterm
Classes begin: Monday, Sep. 23
End of add/drop: Tuesday, Sep. 24
Last day to withdraw: Friday, Nov. 15
Last day to choose the Pass/Fail option: Friday, Nov. 15

October miniterm
Classes begin: Monday, Oct. 21
End of add/drop: Tuesday, Oct. 22
Last day to withdraw: Friday, Oct. 25
Last day to choose the Pass/Fail option: Friday, Oct. 25
